IoMech’s EdgeBX® is a small-factor IoT edge system, capable of legacy equipment control and sensor data collection, monitoring and reporting.

Compatible with a wide range of sensors and actuators/motors, EdgeBX® units collect information from your production facility and sends it to a data collection unit through a secure, independent wireless network (or through a standard network).

EdgeBX® - System Map

EdgeBX®  units can collect information such as:

• Force / weight 
• Pressure 
• Temperature and humidity 
• Position, distance, velocity and acceleration of moving objects 
• Vibration levels 

The units can also interface with existing equipment through RS485 Modbus, RS232, UART, i2c, CAN-BUS and other standard protocols.

• High resolution, 65k colour touch screen (SUI)
• Screen sizes from 2.4” to 10” (SUI) 
• Fully customisable User Interface (SUI) 
• Does not require an internet connection 
• Low power consumption: < 5W  

EdgeBX®-R 

EdgeBX®-R and data aggregation software:

• Developed using industry-leading software by National Instruments and IBM 
• Option to run on single-board computers
• Dashboard can be accessed by any connected device 
• Compatible with major cloud providers (Optional- cloud connection is not required)
